Wenatchee Police say a two month old baby girl could become permanently blind after being assaulted by her father.
Wenatchee Police Sgt. John Kruse, "Its unclear at this point whether this little girl will regain her eye sight, she is blind right now."
"Doctors at Harborview found out about not only this injury but there was a previous brain bleed injury," said Kruse.
Parents of the child brought her to the Wenatchee Medical Center around 9:30 Saturday night where doctors determined she had been bleeding from the brain.
The baby was then taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Medical staff at Harborview determined that the child also suffers from retinal damage due to a previous injury.
The father...20-year old Damon Clabone is being held at Chelan County Regional Justice Center since admitting to detectives Monday night that his actions may have caused these injuries.
