You can help local kids, one cup at a time. The Wenatchee locations of Dutch Bros. coffee will donate proceeds from every beverage sold today to the Children's Home Society. Doug Head, director of the Society's Wenatchee office says they offer a wide range of services. Head, who appeared on Thursday's KPQ Morning Update, says proceeds will most likely be used to support the Childrens Homes Society's foster children programs. Buck for Kids Day will take place at all Dutch Bros. locations across seven western states, including its locally owned and operated Wenatchee area stores, at 1026 North Miller in Wenatchee and 685 Grant Road in East Wenatchee. Dutch Bros. officials say last year on Buck for Kids Day they contributed 90 thousand dollars to local children's organizations.
