A 3 year old Wenatchee boy is reportedly in stable condition at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee after he accidentally shot himself with a pistol. John Wisemore Chief of Operations with the Chelan County Sheriff's office says deputies, Wenatchee Police officers and emergency medical personnel responded to the 500 block of Poplar Avenue around ten a.m. Friday. Wisemore says upon arrival deputies learned the boy accessed a .357 handgun, removed the pistol from the holster and discharged one round from the loaded pistol. The bullet hit the boy's left lower leg and exited into a nearby closet.
