An early morning fight Sunday between two Mansfield teens ended with one of the teens being cut several times with a paring knife, and the other teen charged with attempted murder and assault. Douglas County Sheriff Harvey Gjesdal says deputies were called to the scene of the stabbing, the 300 block of Railroad Avenue a little before 1-30. Gjesdal says the teens, ages 17 and 18, got into a fight over a female. He says the 17 year old apparently stabbed the victim, who had several cuts and stab marks to his chest and neck. A woman who was in the apartment and tried to break up the fight was also stabbed in the arm by the suspect. The victims were taken to Chelan Community Hospital for treatment. Their condition was not immediately available. The investigation continues.
