The Wenatchee city council is moving ahead with plans to potentially implement a 20 dollar car tab fee next year. Thursday night the council unanimously approved the formation of a Transportation Benefit District. Councilman Jim Bailey says no one likes increasing fees, but sometimes it has to be done. The Transportation Benefit District Board, comprised of members of the Wenatchee City Council, will meet early next year and decide whether or not to implement the fee. If they do so, it would not go into effect for another five months or so.
