WenatcheeMayor Dennis Johnson Wednesday cut the red ribbon welcoming Wenatchee's first electric vehicle refill station. Johnson says he expects the station to have a big impact on the downtown area. Public Works Director Dan Frazier says this won't be Wenatchee's only electronic pump. The refill station is part of Olympia's plan to turn the I-5 corridor into an electric highway...that plan includes Highway 2 according Frazier. The station will be operational in January.
