About 150 Chelan County PUD customers in the Tigner, Pioneer Chapel and other areas served by the Simmer Substation are without power. The outage first reported mid-morning Friday, with power restored early Friday afternoon. About an hour later the power went out again. PUD spokeswoman Kimberlee Craig says there was a bad section in an underground line and a broken crossarm. The goal is to get power restored by early Friday evening. She asks residents when there is a power outage to turn off all major appliances, and turn off the heat. That will help prevent problems when the power comes back on. She also thanks customers for their patience and asks people to leave one outside light on so crews on patrol can tell who has their power back on.
