Wenatchee Mayor-elect Frank Kuntz says he's ready to hit the ground running. Kuntz is set to be sworn in as Mayor on Wednesday. Kuntz says he's spent a lot of time at city hall since the election, 30 plus hours a week, meeting with city employees, attending meetings and working on issues surrounding the Town Toyota Center debt. Kuntz, who appeared on the KPQ Morning Update Friday, says by far the biggest issue facing the city, and the one he's spending the most time and energy on, is the Town Toyota Center debt. The first city council meeting with Kuntz presiding as Mayor is set for January 5th.
