Moses Lake Police say a 16 year old boy suffered severe injuries to his hands Wednesday when a homemade bomb he was carrying exploded unexpectedly. The teen is at Harborview Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
Another person in the residence received minor injuries and was treated and released.
The Richland Bomb Squad was called to assist in the investigation. Other small amount of hazardous materials and one other pipe bomb were located inside the residence. The bomb squad conducted a controlled disposal of the items.
