A Wenatchee toddler is lucky to be alive after she nearly drowned Sunday night in the family bath tub. Battalion Chief, Glen Widener with Wenatchee Fire and Rescue says firefighters were called out shortly after 8pm to the home on Bryan Street. He reported that the parents had found their 3 year old daughter submerged in the tub and not breathing. The mother was able to revive the little girl with CPR before emergency crews arrived. Widener says the little girl had opened her eyes and was talking when she was put on the ambulance. She was taken to Central Washington Hospital for observation.
