The Quincy Police Department last week arrested three 15 year old males in connection with a rash of recent burglaries. Sergeant Paul Snyder says of the dozen unsolved burglaries in town in the past couple of months, the teens confessed to ten of them. Snyder says the teens, along with another juvenile, would knock on the front door of a residence, and if no one answered, would break a window or throw rocks though sliding glass doors to gain entry. Snyder says the suspects would then take what they could fit into their backpacks. They would later take the stolen items to a nearby apartment where they received cash for the hot goods. Snyder says police were able to confiscate over 100 stolen items, including several gaming consoles, video games, and other electronic equipment such as cell phones, digital cameras and a laptop computer.
