The 2012 Washington State Apple Blossom Festival officially kicked off last night with the selection of the 10 royalty finalists. It was a packed house at the Wenatchee Performing Arts Center for the announcement.
The final ten candidates chosen from Eastmont and Wenatchee High Schools are: Audrie Ann McClune, Samantha Allen, Nora Cortez, Nikki Schroeder, Devyn Huyler, Lydia Blair, Keisha Engley, Haley Brown, Christine Reed and Claire Fryhover.
The ten finalists were selected from a slate of 33 candidates. They will compete for the Royal Court at the Feb 11th selection pageant. Tickets go on sale at the Festival office today.
