01/14/12 Family of Missing Man Offers Reward

The family of a missing Moses Lake man is offering a cash reward for information leading to his exact whereabouts. 64 year old Dan Toya was last seen late last year. Grant County Sheriff Tom Jones says Toya went missing December 23rd after taking his 10 month old golden retreiver to the veterinarian. He then apparently went to the Samson's Beach area along the Potholes Reservoir to take his dog for a walk. Toya's unoccupied pickup truck was found that evening. Sheriff Jones says there are no signs of foul play. Toya is described as an Asian man, five foot nine inches tall and 180 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes and was said to be in good health and good spirits. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Kim Cook at the Grant County Sheriff's office, (509) 754-2011, extension 468, or send information to crimetips@co.grant.wa.us.
