Fire and Ice are highlighted during this weekend's Lake Chelan Winterfest. Mike Steele with the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce says the "Ice" part of the festival comes from nearly three dozen ice sculptures that are set up all around town. The "Fire" comes from the annual fireworks that light the night skies Saturday evening. Prior to the pyrotechnics, brave souls will take a dip in the lake for the Polar Bear Plunge, followed by the lighting of the bonfire on the shore.
