Two burglaries over the weekend in the East Wenatchee area have a couple of homes without some high priced items.
Douglas County Sheriff Harvey Gjesdal says items in the first home was invaded at 2700 6th st Saturday, "someone had broken into a window at the residence, got inside and had stolen quite a few large ticket items including a flat screen tv...a pistol and jewelry," said Gjesdal.
The second incident happened at a home on South Jarvis Street Sunday, "Someone had left a window open just wide enough to let their animals to get in and out and unfortunately the burglarer exploited this and was able to reach inside to unlock it and get inside, a 52-inch Bravia television worth about $800," Gjesdal said.
Deputies continue to investigate.
