Pangborn Memorial Airport saw a 23-percent increase of travelers in December 2011 than in 2010.
Passengers during that month last year peaked to a little over 93-hundred compared to 75-hundred boardings during that same time in 2010.
Airport director Greg Phillips attributes the increases to better weather conditions.
Total 2011 figures show an 8.5-percent increase in total growth from 2010.
Over 99-hundred people boarded planes last year with over 91-hundred flying in 2010.
Now that Seaport Airlines is on board with three flights to Portland a day...Phillips expects 2012 to be better yet.
