A Chelan woman was killed yesterday afternoon in a two-car collision north of Entiat on highway 97-A. The State Patrol reports 68 year old Kristine Gavin was Northbound when she lost control of her car causing it to cross the centerline. Gavins car struck an oncoming pick-up truck driven by 43 year old Vicente Mora Orduno of Wenatchee. Gavin was declared dead at the scene. Orduno is being treated for injuries at Central Washington Hospital.
