The Douglas County Sherriff's office released a press release last night indicating that a man is in jail after assaulting deputies in Orondo last week.
Around 11:00 p.m. last Wednesday Deputies responded to a call of an intoxicated male at a residence in Orondo.
Family members became concerned after the man threatened to harm himself.
Douglas County Officials say the man was unsteady on his feet and when a deputy tried to grab him the man punched the deputy in the jaw.
The man then fought back as Deputies tried to restrain him grabbing one deputy around the neck and kicking a second Deputy in the stomach.
The suspect was arrested and is booked in at the Chelan County Regional Justice Center for two counts of felony third degree assault.
