Wenatchee area band, Lynus and Lucy will open for rock legends, STYX at the Town Toyota Center. Jennifer Bushong made the announcement on Friday's Business Beat on KPQ. She says a community committee selected the band based on the outcome of a recent Facebook contest that ended Friday. Local bands were asked to submit videos on the Town Toyota Center's Facebook page. Bushong says fans were encouraged to vote for their favorite band. Other criteria, overall musical set, ability, stage presence and the X factor. Bushong says it was great to see the enthusiasm for local music and the Town Toyota Center. STYX, known for hits like "Come Sail Away", "Blue Collar Man" and "Fooling Yourself", will perform February 1st at the Town Toyota Center.
