A barking dog and footprints in the snow helped Wenatchee police catch a suspected car prowler who is believed to have broken into several vehicles this weekend. Sergeant Ken Britt says a woman on Castlerock Street called Rivercom Dispatch around 4-30 Saturday morning after being awakened by her dog barking. Britt says she noticed the side door to her garage was opened and her car was prowled. Britt says police followed footprints in the snow from the garage door to several other cars that had been prowled. Britt says the suspect, identified as a 30 year old Wenatchee man, was found walking along the street, carrying stolen items.
