A Seattle architect has been chosen to work on the Pybus Market Development. Port of Chelan County Commissioners last week chose Graham Baba out of seven architects that were interviewed. The Port's executive director, Mark Urdahl cited Graham Baba Architects work on the Melrose Market Project on Capitol Hill in Seattle, converting two automotive repair buildings into a multi-use market that has about a dozen tenants. Urdahl says the Port wanted to choose a company with the strongest experience and creativity in "adaptive re-use".
In other Port news, the Port and Crunch Pak are looking at extending the feasibility period on the Cashmere Mill Site until June 30th to further evaluate development options. Port and Crunch Pak officials entered into a Purchase and Sale Agreement on the property last October.
