Wenatchee Avenue between Fifth and Ninth Streets is temporarily closed due to a ruptured water main. The break has also disrupted water service to businesses in that area including some hotels and a restaurant. City Public Works Director Dan Frasier reported at 5 am that crews were working to locate the break and said it could be several hours before the roadway re-opens and water service is restored.
