Pangborn Memorial Airport manager, Greg Phillips said his goodbyes at Wednesday's airport governing board meeting. Phillips is moving to Vail, Colorado where's he's accepted another regional airport managerial position. Phillips spoke with KPQ News Director Steve Hair after the meeting and said his departure is bitter sweet. On a related note, Phillips reported Wednesday morning that Pangborn saw an eight percent increase in passengers in 2011. The airport will also welcome a new commercial airline, Seaport, which begins service to Yakima and Portland in March.
