56-year old Wenatchee man is recovering after being struck by a vehicle in the 800 block of South Mission Street.
Wenatchee Police say the incident occurred in front of La Fuente's Mexican Restaurant 5:45p.m. Saturday.
Traveling at under 30 miles per hour the vehicle hit the man...who was wearing dark clothing at that time.
Wenatchee Police Sgt. Cherie Smith, "he kinda got knicked by the left front of the vehicle, spun around and took off the mirror, said Smith, "it wasn't a direct impact, it was a glancing blow."
Smith says the man was sitting on the sidewalk bleeding from the head when authorities arrived.
The 56-year old was taken to Central Washington Hospital because of head lacerations.
Police say the occurrence was accidental.
Smith also says the driver maybe be charged with failure to yield to a pedestrian.
No drugs or alcohol were involved.
