Officials with the State Department of Ecology says they may issue a Stage 1 burn ban for Chelan and Douglas Counties Tuesday morning. Seth Preston, communications manager with the Department's Air Quality and Toxics Cleanup Programs says air quality is expected to continue deteriorating this week, so right now it looks like the ban could extend through the weekend.
