Officials with the Greater Wenatchee Regional Public Facilities District board say they plan to talk with lawyers that specialize in municipal bankruptcies. Board Chair Tim Cetto says they want to be prepared. PFD attorney Pete Fraley says the PFD wants to be prepared in case a local solution can't be found. He says a couple of attorneys or firms have been recommended, one based in the northwest the other in Florida. Members of the PFD's legal committee will recommend which, if any, should be retained.
