Wenatchee Police have made two arrests in connection with an assault last month that left a man with a serious injury to his brain. Sergeant John Kruse says the incident took place in the early morning hours of January 2nd in the 600 block of Okanogan Street. The victim, who was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with a serious head injury, has since been released. Kruse says the motive appears to be robbery. The victim was assaulted shortly after buying beer at a convenience. The suspect, identified as 21 year old Louis M. Wallin of Wenatchee, was already incarcerated for Department of Corrections violations, was arrested Friday at the Chelan County Regional Justice Center. Kruse says Julie Sullivan, a 22 year old woman who lists the same residential address in Wenatchee as Wallin, was arrested for Friday in East Wenatchee without incident and charged with Complicity to robbery and assault. She allegedly drove Wallin to and from the scene of the crime.
