A 32 year old East Wenatchee man was taken to Central Washington Hospital Sunday morning, after he reportedly fell asleep at the wheel. According to the State Patrol Joshua J. Rutherford was southbound on State Route 28, in East Wenatchee, when his Ford Explorer left the road around 7-30am. Rutherford's SUV went up an embankment and hit a fence. Rutherford, who was not belted up, was taken to the Wenatchee Hospital with unspecified injuries. His status was not immediately available.
