Roughly two-thousand people struck a pose on Town Toyota Center ice last night in support of the arena. Among the photographed are local residents to Wenatchee Wild hockey players to city officials.
Organizations involved included amateur hockey...curling...season ticket holders and even the Wenatchee Quilter's Club
Wenatchee Wild Defenseman Kyle Huson says the arena's situation is a difficult one and hopes that it will all be resolved soon.
The gathering's organizer Tammi Gurnard of Wenatchee's Amateur Hockey club is more than pleased with the turnout, "I'm very happy with the turnout," said Gurnard. Gurnard also said that there's been too many negative opinions swirling around and said that she's glad seeing the "other side of the story" that night.
Gurnard says with all the support...their group photo in today's edition of the Wenatchee World newspaper is bound to have an impact.
