Recent report by the Chelan County Public Utility District reveals that the Lake Chelan Basin's runoff is forecasted at 100-percent of average.
PUD Engineer and Analyst Scott Buehn says the lake's elevation is nearly six inches higher than the expected average under the current operating license.
If the data is accurate...the PUD expects generation at the Lake Chelan Hydro Project to meet operating objectives as well as minimum lake elevation targets.
