The Wenatchee Applesox go for the sweep Sunday as they host the Corvallis Knights. Friday the 'Sox came from behind for a 7-6 win. Saturday the AppleSox only scored once, in the bottom of the 1st on Gerhard Muelheims solo shot to right field, but that was all the Sox needed to clinch the series over Corvallis. Derek Callahan and Tyler Kane turned in two solid pitching performances, and the Sox earned their first shutout of the season, 1-0. The win moves the Sox to 6-2 on the season and extends their winning streak to four. The series finale is tonight at 6:05. Pre-game on 560 KPQ begins at about 5-45. The team will have 2 days off and then travel to Klamath Falls for a 3 game road trip before returning home.
