Dead trees and power lines are not a good mix. Chelan County PUD spokesman Steve Lachowicz says a recent incident near Plain serves as a reminder for homeowners to check out their trees to see if they are dying, dead, or leaning toward power lines.
Lachowicz says the PUD's Forestry Operations Department will be happy to visit homeowners and offer guidance on tree removal.
