With the forecast calling for possible thunderstorms today firefighters are hoping mother nature gives them a reprieve in their efforts to contain the Antoine Creek Fire northeast of Chelan. Spokesman, Jeff Sevegney  says over a dozen homes are threatened by the blaze . .


The fire is estimated at over 4000 acres. It was first reported mid-morning Sunday. Sevegny reports about 30 residents and campers at the Alta Lake State Park are under a level one evacuation advisory. There have been no injuries reported and no reports of structure damage at this time.
