Alicia Nakata leads four candidates for the Chelan County Superior Court seat being vacated by Judge John Bridges.  Nakata leads with 40 percent of the vote, with Travis Brandt coming in second at 27%.  Chelan County Commissioners Ron Walter and Doug England are easily outdistancing their opponents in the with 64% of the vote, although they, along Gary Schoessler and Mary Signorelli, will face each other again in November.

In Douglas County, Commissioner Ken Stanton will face Carol Kavanaugh in November, Stanton received 50% of the vote, with Kavanaugh getting 37%.  In the other Commission race, Dale Snyder and Waterville businessman Ed Daling are virtually tied, with Daling holding a seven-vote lead in their "beauty contest;" both will move on to November's general election.
