It appears that a flood of last minute ballots will bring voter turnout numbers closer to what elections officials predicted for Tuesday's primary.Douglas County elections supervisor, Marti Whitehall says with today's mail the County is now reporting a 40 percent turnout. Ballots continue to stream into the Chelan County Auditor's office. Elections supervisor, Nissa Burger reports as of Thursday morning an additional 6-thousand ballots had been returned bringing the total voter turnout to 49 percent.
