Three high school age juveniles were arrested Friday in connection with a pipe bomb that was placed in a planter at the entrance to Eastmont High School on June 1st. Sergeant William Redfield with the East Wenatchee Police Department says the school was evacuated and an explosives team from Yakima was called in after the device was found.
Redfield says experts determined that the device was not rigged in a way that would have detonated. The teens were charged with malicious placement of an explosive device.
