08/11/12 Fatal Accident Near Chelan



A motorcycle accident near Chelan Friday night claimed the life of a Bellevue man. The State Patrol reports that 42 year old Jason Richert was northbound on State Route 97, about five miles south of Chelan, when his Harley Davidson left the road and ended up in a ditch around 9-15pm. Richert died at the scene. His passenger, 43 year old Patricia Richert, also of Bellevue, was taken to the Chelan Hospital. Her status was not available. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
