A thousand or more school aged kids, six to 16, will be helped today at Serve Wenatchee Valley's annual Back to School Giveaway. The event runs from 8-30am to noon at Saddlerock Evangelical Presbyterian Church, formerly the First Presbyterian Church, at 1400 South Miller Street in Wenatchee. Pastor Bob Shepard with Serve Wenatchee Valley says it's a great way to ensure that kids start the school year on a positive note.
