Douglas County Commissioner Steve Jenkins has responded to complaints about the way the County enforces shoreline development rules. The complaints come from Columbia riverfront property owners who have notices from the County claiming they are in violation of County codes relating to shoreline development. One homeowner, Cathy Schenck complained that the County's Transportation and Land Services department has been, "very aggressive, rude and threatening when dealing with us" Jenkins explained on today's KPQ Morning Update how the County intends to respond . .
