08/21/12 Suspected Drunk Driver In Jail After Multiple Collisions

Wenatchee Police say an East Wenatchee man caused a lot of damage while driving drunk in the area Monday evening.
Sgt. Cherie Smith of the Wenatchee Police Department says 21-year old Silviano Betancourt caused a fair amount of havoc shortly after 6p.m. Monday . . .



Smith says Betancourt ran one block before police were able to subdue and arrest him.Out of the four vehicles damaged only one was occupied but there were no injuries.Betancourt is booked into the Chelan County Jail on multiple counts of hit and run . . .driving under the influence and driving without a valid drivers license.
