Authorities were able to talk an East Wenatchee woman off of the Pedestrian Bridge Friday. East Wenatchee Police Sgt. William Redfield says the woman scaled the outer fence of the elevated walkway around 4:15p.m. . .
Redfield says the East Wenatchee woman who's described to be in her early 50's was taken to Central Washington Hospital for an evaluation. East Wenatchee Police received assistance from a Douglas County Sheriff's boat incase the woman jumped. Redfield says it took 30 minutes of convincing before the woman came down.
