The 3rd annual Chelan Ridge Hawk Migration Festival is set for this weekend. Robin DeMario with the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forests says the event starts Saturday at eight a.m. at Memorial Park in Pateros.
The family event includes free activities from eight a.m. to three p.m. at Memorial Park in Pateros, with field trips to the Chelan Ridge site to learn about raptors. The festival wraps up Sunday at the North Cascades Basecamp in Mazama with a lecture and field trip to Harts Pass.
