Driving Under the Influence may have played a factor in an East Wenatchee area motorcycle accident that sent a man to Central Washington Hospital Friday evening. Douglas County Sheriff Harvey Gjesdal says deputies were called to the area of Van Well Avenue and 4th Street SE a little before seven p.m. Gjesdal says a witness reported seeing the motorcycle, a 1979 Honda GL 1000, enter a curve, lose control and go off the road. The driver was conscious and taken to CWH for possible neck injuries. The man's name and status were not immediately available.
