091112 Barkley Canyon Fire Update (AUDIO)



The two largest fires burning in our state right now are in the northeast corner of Douglas County. The Barker Canyon and Leahy Fires have scorched about 40 thousand acres combined . Mike Simmons is handling public information for the incident management team on the Barkley Complex Fire. The Red Cross has set up a shelter at the senior center in Grand Coulee.
