Smoke or no smoke, The Wenatchee River Salmon Festival is on for this weekend, September 22-23, 2012 with all activities, entertainment, food court, Chalk Art, and Arts & Crafts available. The festival doors are open from 10A.M. – 5 P.M.

After a year of planning, the Salmon Fest Core Team regretfully cancelled School Days (Thursday & Friday, September 20-21) for the Wenatchee River Salmon Festival. Organizers say the decision to cancel the school days is based upon the amount of smoke particulate that filtered into the upper Leavenworth area Tuesday, tipping the air quality scale into the “Very Unhealthy” category.
