10/04/12 Woodcutting Restrictions Eased

It's still dry out there but Department Natural Resource officials feel that now's the time to ease Industrial Fire Precaution Levels in some areas.

IFPL's for logging and industrial operations in the woods was lowered to a level 3 this morning for Chelan . . .Douglas . . .Kittitas and Yakima Counties.

A level 3 limits all activities to between 8p.m. and 1p.m. while under a fire watch.

A statewide burn ban remains in effect until October 7th.
