Attorneys for the Wenatchee School District Friday will ask Chelan County Superior Court Judge Lesley Allan for a protective order. The district is being sued by the family of Antonio Reyes. Reyes, a high school freshman, drowned in the high school's pool last November 17th. Reyes family attorney Simeon Osborn says it's mostly a procedural issue and deals with the "scope of the case".
The family filed a $15 million claim against the school district in December. Osborne says the case is currently set to go to trial in September of next year.
