Fire managers on the Table Mountain Fire, eight miles northeast of Cle Elum, say operations have gone well this weekend. Officials say significant progress was made mopping up hot spots near the fireline and around homes and structures. While the blaze, which has burned over 42 thousand acres (42,312) is fully contained, dozens of homes and outbuildings remain threatened. Level 2 evacuation notices remin in place for the town of Liberty and the Liberty Mountain Home Association. The blaze, which started almost a month ago, burned five outbuildings. No homes were lost.
