SOLDOTNA, Alaska – Although they tried to get out of it, the Wenatchee Wild dug themselves into an insurmountable 6-0 hole Thursday against the Kenai River Brown Bears and went on to lose 7-5 at the Soldotna Sports Center in Soldotna, Alaska. The Wild (9-2-1) will try to get back on track against the Brown Bears Friday night. Faceoff is set for 8:30 p.m. The 3-game series will conclude Saturday. Faceoff for that game is also scheduled for 8:30 p.m. Pre-game on 560 KPQ each night begins at about 8-20p.m. Wenatchee’s home opener, against the Minot Minotauros on Friday, Oct. 26, is only 13 days away. Single-game tickets are now on sale for all Wild home games. Full and partial season ticket plans are also still available.
