A pain medication that has been linked to a fungal meningitis outbreak in several states was not shipped to Washington State. But Secretary of Health Mary Selecky says the Massachusetts-based company that manufactured the tainted drug is licensed for services in Washington State and that it has shipped other products here.
Selecky says an investigation has been launched to find out if any of those products have been used The meningitis outbreak has been blamed for 15 deaths in several states.
